Charlee Brotherton is the most successful entrepreneur in the matchmaking world, with 23 agencies in 10 states. She launched Executive Matchmakers with the encouragement of one of Silicon Valley’s biggest investors, who was disillusioned by the Midwest Area dating and burned out on apps that failed to deliver love.
With the goal of creating the Midwest’s perfect matchmaking agency, Charlee drew on insights from the area’s top executives and entrepreneurs, as well as the most brilliant minds in the matchmaking world. The result is Executive Matchmakers, a hyper-local, high-end matchmaking firm, that understands its clients’ lifestyles and needs better than anyone else. While its hyper-local luxury service is bespoke – Executive Matchmakers is no small startup. With a ridiculously extensive database, operations akin to top tech headhunters, and a comprehensive screening process—the Midwest has finally met its match.
Charlee is a Certified Matchmaker from the Institute of Certified Matchmakers in New York and also served as a board member for the organization. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from the Wharton School of Business. Prior to joining the matchmaking industry, Charlee practiced public accounting, served as Tax Manager and Employee Benefits Manager was Director of Employee Benefits for a Fortune 500 company. Charlee is a native from Northern California. She likes to share that she met her wonderful husband Bob through her matchmaking service. What a testament to the power of Executive Matchmaking.
